About Humanitarian news

A humanitarian crisis is an event that deprives large populations of their basic rights to life and security. This can occur due to natural disasters, conflict or epidemics. These events often have devastating immediate and long-term effects on a population. They can include a lack of water, food, shelter, medical care or access to education. Hunger is a consequence of many humanitarian crises, whether caused by natural disasters like droughts or plagues of locusts or by the displacement of people resulting from violent conflict.
