Global climate change is one of the greatest challenges facing humanity today. The impact of this change is very broad and permeates various aspects of life. A major factor in climate change is increased greenhouse gas emissions, which result in global warming. As a result, polar ice is melting, sea levels are rising, and extreme changes in weather patterns are occurring. One of the most obvious impacts is the increasing frequency and intensity of natural disasters such as floods, storms and droughts. For example, coastal areas are increasingly vulnerable to flooding due to rising sea levels. In tropical regions, crops that depend on stable rainfall patterns are threatened with crop failure, causing food insecurity. Apart from that, climate change also affects human health, by increasing the risk of diseases transmitted by vectors such as mosquitoes. Various solutions can be implemented to overcome the impacts of climate change. First, the transition towards renewable energy sources such as solar, wind and hydroelectric power is essential. The use of electric vehicles and energy efficiency in the industrial sector are also important steps to reduce emissions. Second, forest conservation and reforestation can help absorb carbon dioxide from the atmosphere. Forests function as natural carbon stores and provide habitat for various species. Public education and awareness also play a key role in dealing with climate change. Educational programs that emphasize the importance of the environment and sustainability can create a generation that cares more about these issues. In addition, policy support from the government to promote environmentally friendly practices, such as incentives for companies implementing clean technologies, is needed. In an international framework, agreements such as the Paris Agreement demonstrate the commitment of countries to collaborate to reduce global emissions. Through global cooperation, countries can share technology, funds and knowledge, which is critical in fighting climate change. With these steps, it is hoped that we can create a more sustainable world and reduce the negative impacts of global climate change. Facing climate change requires collective and real action from all levels of society. Each individual can contribute through reducing their personal carbon footprint, such as using public transportation, reducing waste, and adopting a sustainable lifestyle. This is not only the responsibility of governments or companies, but also the responsibility of all of us as members of the global community.
